H&S Anlagentechnik have specialized in the development of system and process technologies for storage, dosing, blending and formulating polyurethanes as well as chemical recycling of PU and PET waste for more than 30 years. Our aim: We want to provide you as our customer with future-oriented solutions, which already take future requirements into account today. This is why we are comprehensibly investing in research and development and continuously working on optimizing our products.

The H&S Research and Development Center
H&S Anlagentechnik has its own Research and Development Center in Wildau near Berlin. Here, we focus on the new and further development of technical processes and recipes for recovered polyols, brand-new polyester polyols and PU foam recipes for a wide range of PU applications.

Chemical development – our services:
- Development and introduction of technologies and processes for chemical recycling of PU waste
- Development and introduction of technologies and processes for synthesis of polyester polyols based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET), phthalic acid anhydride (PA), adipic acid and natural oils
- Upscaling of processes to semi-industrial and industrial scale
- Testing of customer samples and PU foam surplus samples
- Foaming tests and analyses of the physical and mechanical foam properties
- Adaptation of polyol parameters to customer requirements and specifications (individual development)
- Staff training by H&S chemists (project-related)
- Long-term support and advice during the pre-sales, startup and production phase
