Blending stations for polyol and solids
The technology of blending polyol with fillers such as calcium carbonate or melamine is mostly used for flexible PU foam applications. The purpose of using fillers is a reduction of production costs on the one hand and improvement of end product properties such as fire resistance on the other.
H&S provides a blending solution and batch process integrated into the production line. The
technology of blending polyol with solids requires thorough homogenization and process temperature control due to heating of the medium while agitating.
