H&S Anlagentechnik is a new member of the EUROPUR association
(Sulingen/ 29.07.2022) Full speed ahead when it comes to sustainability! H&S Anlagentechnik takes things to the next level and is now a member of the EUROPUR association.
The annual EUROPUR conference took place in Berlin on the 08th and 09th of June 2022 with the main focus on sustainability.
EUROPUR is the European Association of Flexible PU Foam Block Manufacturers based in Brussels and has represented the industry for more than five decades. It provides a platform for discussions and takes appropriate actions on key issues related to foam production and use.
But that is only one of the reasons why H&S Anlagentechnik applied for membership: "We absolutely share the values of EUROPUR. As sustainability is very important to us, we are very pleased to be able to make an even greater impact in the future as a new member of EUROPUR," says Mila Skokova, Sales & Product Manager at H&S Anlagentechnik.
Like EUROPUR, H&S Anlagentechnik is committed to promote the unique benefits of flexible polyurethane foam in its many applications. In cooperation with the Dutch recycling company RetourMatras, H&S Anlagentechnik has, for example, implemented the post-consumer mattress recycling project, which is set to go into operation. Also the cooperation with the RENUVA mattress recycling program at Orion Chemicals Orgaform is one of the world's first projects in this area, which fits perfectly with the topic of sustainability. "Projects like this advance the whole recycling industry, as they are not only good for the environment, but also bring economic benefits. In this context, we focus especially on a more active implementation of projects, which are not limited to the area of research. This is the only way we can become even more attractive in terms of sustainability and keep an eye on our ecological assessment by actively fighting the waste streams," says Mila Skokova.
